2nd time to camp here with my sister's family. Sand is white and pino. They have staffs who maintains the cleanliness except if you really have guests who do not know how to secure their trash. They forbid the usage of own grilling and drone. It's low tide in the morning. You can enjoy the sea near the shore in the late afternoon. You can pitch tents and put hammocks in the trees. Guards are very friendly and really assist the guests. They roam around the area especially during those days that it's jampacked with guests. You can do walk-in. Hopefully they can control the number of guests especially during holidays and weekends. We only had one bad experience in our 2nd time visit wherein someone stole our butane gas during the night when we're sleeping. When we woke up in the morning, the 2 butane gas that are still full were missing. We just left it in the table outside our tents. We had the hunch that it's a group beside us since we overheard few hours ago that they don't have gas anymore and unable to buy anywhere. Then that morning, they were able to cook their breakfast. We didn't report this since it's just a small hiccup. Anyway, the resort is nice. The staffs are nice. You just have to be careful with other guests. ^_^
Great place. Beach is clean. Water is clear. Best spot to camp out. Child friendly.
It's like a campsite and we rented a tent there. The beach is wide because it's low tide and the view is great but the sea water is dirty and you can't see the bottom. Be sure to bring own lights during the night and have covers over your tent and a good spot under the trees to protect from rain shower
We had such a wonderful time at this beach resort! If you love a quiet camping site, love peaceful place, this is the right one. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and the whole place felt like our own private escape. The staff were nice and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The place was beyond good, and the facilities were well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. One thing we really appreciated is that the security is top tier — there are lots of guards and personnel regularly rounding the area, which made us feel very safe and secure during our stay. I suggest to you guys to go here during weekdays (regular days) because there are less people around. We went on a Friday afternoon, and there were only about 15 customers in such a big place. Mind you, there’s at least 200 meters apart between groups, so you really have privacy. Not sure how it is during peak season, but on regular days it’s just perfect. We will definitely coming back here! Highly recommended for those who want peace, space, security, and a refreshing break from the crowd.
The place is relaxing and rules are imposed properly Cr/shower is not a problem Grilling area is available anytime There is a charging station Attentive staffs No rooms, only tents Bring everything you need Overall experience = Great
This beach is nice. Though the problem is the beach go low tide in the afternoon. And the last time I was there, there are so many people which is understandable cause its summer. But the beach really go low tide. You cant do anything from the afternoon until night haha
Manuel Uy Beach in Calatagan is a great place to camp! It's right by the beach, so you can easily swim or just relax by the water. They have separate areas for grilling your food, which is nice, and clean shower rooms – a big plus for camping! The beach itself is okay, not the best ever, but the camping setup is really convenient. Perfect for a relaxing weekend trip with friends or family!
If you’re looking for a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, Manuel Uy Beach is a hidden gem worth visiting. The soft, powdery sand and crystal-clear waters create the perfect backdrop for a relaxing day under the sun. The beach isn’t overcrowded, which gives it a peaceful and intimate vibe—ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the sound of the waves. The surrounding scenery is stunning, with lush greenery and gentle breezes that make it a photographer’s dream. There are basic facilities nearby, but part of the charm is its untouched, natural feel. Local vendors offer fresh seafood and snacks, making it convenient to grab a bite without leaving the beach. Overall, Manuel Uy Beach is perfect for a quiet day of relaxation, a family outing, or a romantic getaway.
